Other services offered to ministries
In addition to standardization, certification and laboratory assessment services, the BNQ also offers support services to the departments of various Québec Government ministries. The BNQ is aware of the existence of their standardization needs and can contribute added value to the work and normative documents produced by these ministries by partnering with them for greater efficiency and effectiveness. These partnerships may involve assistance in the development of normative documents and include normative drafting and meeting facilitation for working committees to support progress made in document content. By using the BNQ’s services to develop normative documents, the government benefits from the expertise of a recognized body with extensive experience in standards development in Québec and at the national and international levels.
