Precast Concrete Curbs - Dimensional, Geometric and Physical Characteristics

Concrete curbs can be found in infrastructure across Quebec. They are used to delineate paved roadways, sidewalks, shoulders, medians and road edges, and they also serve as gutters for runoff. The mass production of curbs in factories means that products must be consistent and high-quality. To that end, the BNQ has developed the 2624-210 standard on precast concrete curbs. The standard describes the characteristics of unreinforced precast concrete curbs produced in factories and the controls and testing that apply.
